Big Island boys and girls soccer and basketball seasons are underway with games across the isle every week.
On Friday, the Waiakea boys soccer team played at Keaau and won 10-2 on the wet field.
This was the first match of the season for both the Warriors and the Cougars. Waiakea will next play Kohala at home at 3 p.m. on Monday and Keaau will play Hilo at home at 2 p.m. on Friday.
Boys basketball
Pahoa plays at Hawaii Prep on Monday and at Konawaena on Saturday. Hilo will play at Kealakehe on Saturday with games starting at 6:30 p.m.
Honokaa plays at Kealakehe on Tuesday and Ka‘u will visit Honokaa on Saturday with games starting at 6:30 p.m.
Kamehameha will be at Keaau on Wednesday and St. Joseph is on the road to Keaau on Friday with games starting at 6:30 p.m.
Waiakea will play at Konawaena on Monday and at Hawaii Prep on Friday.
All games begin at 6:30 p.m.
Girls basketball
Hilo will have home games against Konawaena on Wednesday and Kealakehe on Thursday.
Honokaa will play at Christian Liberty on Thursday. Keaau will host Waiakea on Tuesday and play at Kohala on Saturday. Waiakea will also play at Pahoa on Thursday.
All games begin at 6:30 p.m.
Girls soccer
Hilo will host Hawaii Prep on Wednesday and play at Keaau on Friday.
Waiakea will play at Kealakehe on Saturday. All games begin at 4 p.m.
Boys soccer
The games will be the same as the girls teams for Hilo, Keaau and Waiakea, but will begin at 2 p.m.
The Kamehameha boys team will play at Parker at 3 p.m.
